About Me

I'm an experience designer with a reputation for combining strategic thinking, creative concepts, and engaging design with a deep understanding of technology.

I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2013 with a B.A. in Interactive Arts and Media. During my time there, I rediscovered my passion for technology and digital design, which ignited my interest in UX. In 2019, I pursued this passion further by completing a self-directed User Experience Design certificate through Springboard. Currently, I am continuing my professional development through courses with the Interaction Design Foundation.

Problem-solving has always been a strength of mine, and it's what drew me to UX design. I thrive on deconstructing complex issues, analyzing the smallest details, and exploring various solutions. I enjoy immersing myself in research, uncovering the nuances between perceived and actual problems, and creating solutions that truly address the core issues. I feel fortunate to have found a career path that not only captivates me but also keeps me motivated to continuously grow and learn.

Outside of my work I enjoy kickboxing, baking, reading, and restoring the charm to our 1920s home via DIY renovations. I'm also dipping my toes into teaching a strength training class at my gym, giving me the opportunity to mentor and encourage more positivity in the strong community of women that attend. I also cherish my time with my amazing partner and our two wonderful dogs, Remus and Tonks.
